I hope you are staying heathy and happy.

Can I be honest with you? There’s been some good parts about the shutdown and some very difficult parts. The good part has been having the time to invest in my skills. Like most, the less good parts are the isolation and not seeing you all.

I want to thank you so much for all your kind messages and for keeping me updated on how you have been as I truly love hearing from you! I don’t want to bombard you but I feel it is important to keep in touch especially as we are all so ‘distant/unconnected’ right now.

I know some of you may not ‘follow’ me on social media and so may miss my regular updates. So first of all, just a reminder that I’m always really happy to hear your hair issues and questions. They really help me because, once I know, I can organise a tutorial or educational video on any struggles you are facing.

And the common question right now is Lockdown colour particularly on regrowth and brassy blondes. Obviously my main concern is you turning to the dreaded ‘box dye.’ Please don’t. These sound tempting but they can create nasty problems with banding, over processing or revealing the underlying warmth in the hair which will all need correcting down the line. Aargh!

SO I have been investigating options (trying them out on my own hair)  and I’m so pleased to be able to tell you that there IS a solution. It’s Wella colour masks and they are fantastic. They come in many colours, help to diffuse the greys and add rich colour tones or neutralise brassy blondes with the added benefit of a conditioning mask (avocado oil.)

They are also fab for all those dry ends we’ve accumulated from having no haircuts.
The masks don’t contain ammonia or parabins and will gradually fade without any demarcation. I have had amazing feedback from clients who have used them on my recommendation. I am so impressed that I am happy to order and drop off for you along with any professional products you need. Please just let me know.

A few personal updates.

I have immersed myself in many courses including a trichology course which is close to my heart.  I’m a bit of a science geek so I’m finding it fascinating!

I have also trained in Redken shades E.Q which I will be introducing into my colour range and the shine from this acid formula is incredible!

I am also embarking on another intense week long colour fundamentals  course which, as well as my night work (Tesco distribution centre), keeps me busy and sane!

Oh and of course plenty of cycling although it has been blooming cold! 🥶

On a final note:  As soon as Boris gives us a return date,  I will be honouring all missed appointments, working back chronologically from December. Don’t worry, I have all names wanting to be on my waiting list.
I really hope you can be patient with me. Although I plan to work 7 days a week, it’s obviously going to take a little while to work through the backlog. Rest assured, I will give all my lovely clients the time and attention you need – with no rush.

And, if you would like to support my business then please leave a ‘like/comment’ on my social media. I would be truly grateful as it all helps.
